The ZLB was selected this year (2019) as the best library in Germany. And for a good reason. A huge selection of novels, nonfiction sheet music (which you can play on the house's grand piano), CDs, DVDs and a very well-stocked children's and youth library, which also has space for learning and chilling. Personal Tipl: the well-chosen comic and graphic novels department.

Great for relaxing. Just dive in and read. Large selection of films, CDs and sheet music. Great the 24 hour night desk.

The American Memorial Library in Kreuzberg was a gift from the Americans after the end of the Soviet blockade and was also called "The Showcase of the West". The American people supported the construction through donations. The America Memorial Library is a location of the Berlin Central and State Library and houses the humanities and the “fine” arts, fiction, films, music and the art library. The children's and youth library is also located here.
