The Erdberger Steg in Vienna is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge spanning the Danube Canal and providing an important link in Vienna's cycle path network. Originally built as a wooden bridge in 2003, it was replaced in 2022 by a wider steel structure that provides more space for cyclists and pedestrians. The bridge provides a direct crossing of the canal, facilitates access to the cycle paths on both sides, and contributes to improving urban mobility. Cyclists value the bridge as a safe and convenient connection in this central part of Vienna.
