E++ has carried out the electromechanical works of the new hydroelectric plant built next to a regulating dam of a large irrigation canal. The estimated annual energy production is approximately 2,600 MWh (corresponding to the annual electricity needs of approximately 800 families). The avoided CO2 emissions compared to the production of electricity from fossil fuels will be approximately 1,300t. The plant is connected to the national electricity grid, into which all the energy produced is fed. Work performed: Design, supply and commissioning of a Kaplan-type turbine group, generator, machine gate, automation and power electrical panels and systems.
