The Döberitzer Heide is an approximately 5000 hectare area in Brandenburg, which belongs to the southeastern part of the landscape unit Nauener Platte. The area essentially comprises the areas of the former military training area Döberitz, which were designated as nature reserves, and on around 3600 hectares a major wilderness project of the Heinz-Sielmann-Stiftungbeheimaten, unique in Europe. The heath landscape lies west of the Berlin city boundary and south of the federal highway 5 for the most part in the district Havelland between Dallgow-Döberitz and the district Seeburg and the Wustermarker districts Elstalund Priort. A small part in the south belongs to Potsdam.
