The "New Mill" on the Fulda was first mentioned in a document in 1443 and in 1890 the historical foundation stone for Kassel's electricity and water supply was laid at this location. Today the museum of the same name shows the past and present of Kassel's supply of water, electricity and gas. And the completely preserved machines provide an impressive insight into the development of the water and energy industry.
