The Route of the Moulins (windmills) near Ersa in Cap Corse is a wonderful, easily accessible destination with nature, history, and panoramic views.
🚶♂️ Route & Facts at a Glance:
Start/Access: Along the D80, just before the Col de la Serra (364 m). Parking available, then a 10-15 minute walk up to the main destination, the restored Moulin Mattei.
Possible circular route: You can also combine the route as a short hike – e.g., with the Sentier des Douaniers (Customers' Trail) or through gentle loops over plateau hills – usually 2-3 km, approx. 1 hour, with little elevation gain.
