From the Elbchaussee you have a direct view of the container terminal on the other side of the river. If you feel like it, you can take the steep steps that lead down to the water and observe the slow-moving on the Elbe directly from the shore.

View is indeed impressive! Only the roads are no longer "recommended" for racing cyclists here. Until just before you can drive on the "Hans.Leip shore" on the Elbe still good, from "Övelgönne" push is announced. And Elbchausee is not "recommended" for driving. So my tip: enjoy the road bike view from "below" and turn around again ;-) Or grab the touring bike :-)
