The Joseph-Volotsky Monastery is a monastery in honor of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located in the village of Teryaevo, Volokolamsk District, Moscow Region. There are very beautiful lakes nearby! A place you don’t want to leave!
The monastery was founded in 1479 by St. Joseph of Volotsk. The funds for the construction were provided by Prince Boris Vasilyevich of Volotsk (1449–1494). The monastery has a teahouse and its own agricultural greenhouses.
