Traffic lights with Viking symbols: A cool art project in Schleswig-Holstein?
In some towns in Northern Germany – especially in and around Schleswig – there are indeed traffic lights with Viking motifs as a tribute to regional history. These are mostly artistic pedestrian traffic lights that depict Vikings in helmets instead of the standard pedestrian crossing symbols.

Haithabu / Schleswig: Traffic lights with Viking silhouettes have already been discussed or implemented around the Viking Museum Haithabu.
Denmark: Similar projects exist in Aarhus and Ribe (famous Viking towns).
