Nice mountain river to relax a little and have a bath. You can even find some small sandy beaches, riffles and gorges when you walk up or down its banks. There are several opportunities to access the river along the road towards Chiang Mai but this location is a little set back from the road, so you only hear some of the traffic but don't see it. This place might be also a good camping spot. It is popular with locals so the adjacent tree strip is spoiled with trash, but the river banks are mainly clean.
