The Roman bridge of Pietralunga is an archaeological site located in the Pietralunga district of the municipality of Paternò, in the province of Catania near the Simeto river. The bridge, with two arches, served the road that connected the ancient city of Katane to the inland centers of Centuripe, Agira, Assoro and Enna, therefore it was part of that road system through which cargoes of wheat passed towards the eastern coasts headed for the capital of the empire.
