Santa Rita de Jacutinga is a Brazilian municipality in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais, Southeast region of the country. It belongs to the Intermediate[7] and Immediate Geographic Regions of Juiz de Fora[7] and is located south of the state capital, approximately 370 km away.[8] It occupies an area of 437.555 km², of which 0.3682 km² are in the urban perimeter,[9] and its population in 2011 was 4,976 inhabitants,[10] being the 618th most populous in the state of Minas Gerais.
