The Grünhütte is the destination between Sommerberg and Kaltenbronn. Accordingly, well attended on Sundays and public holidays. The blueberry pancake is really first class.

Really a beautiful destination, but you should be there before 12 o'clock, so you can save the very long waiting times and you can quickly enjoy the delicious home-made (legendary) blueberry pancakes or blueberry wine!

Last time, as Kauai noted, the 50-meter-long line also deterred us, and we just turned around. Today we were lucky and did not have to wait despite the busy operation. Maybe it helped that we arrived shortly after 12:00. Later it became so crowded again that we gladly cleared the "field". The dishes were all very delicious! So it's worth waiting a bit.

After the "forewarnings" we got a splash and arrived shortly before 12 o'clock on Pentecost. Radiant weather and little rush!

The food was as expected great for a cabin and the staff was nice and helpful. After half an hour it was already clearly full and the queue läääänger.

Great hut, very good food. I definitely recommend the blueberry pan cake. My tip: Try not to stop on Saturday or Sunday, as you have to expect long waiting times. If you want to come on Saturday or Sunday, I recommend leaving early and arriving shortly before noon, then you will get a seat quite quickly and can enjoy the delicious food!
