The Sretensky Church stood on lands belonging to the Khonenev family of landowners and was apparently especially revered by them. Their family graves from the 18th and 19th centuries were here. The tombstones have been preserved: Alexander Semenovich († 1787), a brigadier of the Life Guards Preobrazhensky Regiment; brother and sister Nikolai († 1845) and Ekaterina († 1855) Alexandrovna. And after Ekaterina Alexandrovna Khoneneva (1788-1855) married Prince Ivan Semenovich Khrapovitsky (1786-1864), a privy councilor and a resident of the capital, the Khrapovitskys and their entourage chose the churchyard at the Sretensky Church as their final resting place. In the cold church behind the right choir lies I.S. Khrapovitsky.
