The Fasson Hotel in Heede is a real insider tip for cyclists who value comfort, design, and hospitality. The free bike garage provides a safe place for your bike, and if you've ever experienced a shortage of power outlets, we recommend an extension cable with a multi-plug (Amazon item no. B01HZNGTBS) – especially if you have multiple devices.

The spacious rooms are furnished in Scandinavian style – modern, cozy, and with great attention to detail. The entire hotel is owner-managed; the owner himself occasionally visits, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful.

The hotel also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine:
🍝 Ristorante Kannelloni – Italian specialties
🥩 Charlie Drys Steakhouse – very popular, reservations are essential (250 seats, usually full!)

The breakfast is exceptionally good – one of the best in the Emsland region. It can only be compared to the equally recommended Hotel Melchers in Vechta (also a tip for cyclists: hotelmelchers.de).

The hotel's location near the Ems River and the Dutch border makes it an ideal starting point for tours in the region – whether toward Papenburg, the Ems Cycle Path, or across to the neighboring country.

Top-notch food, advance booking is essential, and online ordering is also available. Outdoor seating, some with vertical awnings and patio heaters. Highly recommended.
