The castle is over 600 years old. Multiple owner change. War turmoil survived well. 1992 Sale by the municipality to a Berlin architect. Already visited the castle more than 10 years ago and could not see any significant changes compared to now (probably a money problem !?). The castle has a restaurant, which I unfortunately could not try for reasons of time.

An impressive castle in a sleeping beauty. Almost nothing has changed in years. But at least it doesn't disintegrate, that's also an achievement.
