The village of Aleksino is the oldest settlement in the Kolchuginsky district. It was first mentioned in documents from the early 14th century as the patrimony of the Grand Dukes of Moscow. Grand Duke Ivan Danilovich Kalita bequeathed "the village of Aleksinskoye to his son Ivan" in his 1328 deed. Ivan Kalita also called Aleksino a village in his 1328 deed, which indicates that there was already a church here.
