This hike offers impressive views of the island of Skyros and the sea. The trail continues uphill, passing olive groves, broom bushes, and wild oregano/thyme bushes. Most of the way along the paved road is quiet. The village has a small supermarket where you can buy soft drinks. There's also a tavern serving delicious frapés. Great views, and the village of "Oktonia" is very authentic.
