A building from the late nineteenth century, built by Francisco Murube in the likeness of the Cercedilla train station. During the twentieth century it was used as the town hall until a few decades ago. After a major renovation it was used as a house of culture. Inside there are exhibition halls, multipurpose rooms and an auditorium. It is the headquarters of the Municipal School of Music and Dance of Los Palacios and Villafranca. Also noteworthy of the civil architecture are two oil mills from the late eighteenth century, some country houses from the nineteenth century and the place where the old castle of Los Palacios stood, now converted into a home after its destruction in 1843.
