As the name suggests, the Col de la Vue des Alpes offers, in good weather, a beautiful view over Lake Neuchâtel and the Alps.
From Neuchâtel, you climb the first short climb and arrive in the pretty village of Valangin. Across a wide, relatively flat plateau, you cross over to the ridge of Mont Racine / Tête de Ran. A long road through the forest then leads you to the 1,283-meter-high col.
