The Ottoturm is an almost 19-meter-high observation tower on the Kahlenberg. From here, you have a beautiful panoramic view of parts of the Siegerland region, especially when the weather is good; on particularly clear days you can even see the Siebengebirge. The steel staircase up to the tower is a highlight in itself, especially if you are afraid of heights. But the climb is worth it!
The Ottoturm is a 18.59m high observation tower.
The original tower was built in 1911 as a steel framework construction and was a listed building.
The tower was named after its founder Otto Stein, an industrialist of churches.
The current tower was built in 2010, after the original was dilapidated and could not be rehabilitated.
The tower offers a beautiful view of the surroundings on nice days.
