the Watt Munisotaram is the only Cambodian Buddhist temple in Minnesota and the largest in the US. It is associated with a large 9000+ Cambodian community in the Minneapolis St Paul area, originating from post Vietnam War immigration of refugees from Cambodia in the 1980s, welcomed particularly by faith based service groups and local sponsors.
