Grain South Africa's NAMPO Harvest Day is one of the largest privately owned agricultural shows in the Southern Hemisphere and is held annually just outside the town of Bothaville in the Free State province of South Africa. The first NAMPO Harvest Day was held in 1967 at Donkerhoek farm near Bloemfontein and was attended by 200 producers. After that, Harvest Day was held at various farms until the size of the event required a more permanent venue. So in 1974, NAMPO Harvest Day was held at a permanent site outside Bothaville, now known as NAMPO Park.
