Well the Gugelturm is definitely worth a visit. Here you can look at the tower and around the Black Forest to deep into Switzerland. Provided the weather allows it. Of course you also have the opportunity to rest and to barbecue here. Take the Gugelturm as a goal or at least as a waypoint in your planning.

Great intermediate destination for hikes and MTB tours. Local retirees run the mountain hut, there are snacks and very good cakes.
