Here the 85-mile Standing Stone Trail intersects with the 324-mile Mid State Trail. The Mid State Trail runs from Maryland to New York, almost perfectly bisecting Pennsylvania. The Standing Stone Trail (SST) connects the Mid State Trail to the 250-mile Tuscarora Trail at the SST's southern terminus in Cowans Gap.
The Bear Meadows campsite is just west of here and has parking. There are plenty of nearby water sources along Detweiler Run.
