Frankincense trees are grown on 5 km2 in Wadi Dowkah. The current stock is set to be expanded to 10,000 trees. Frankincense production can begin once the trees are 8-10 years old.
It is very interesting to see the plants, as the scent of frankincense is omnipresent in Oman.
