Walk downhill past the small church and after about 300 meters turn left towards the "dam wall". Unlike on Santo Antão, the Rotcha Scribida was not created by human hands, but rather the result of several layers of lava. It's worth seeing if you're in the area anyway, but I wouldn't take a detour for it.
