It reaches its maximum altitude at Vigia do Mendro, at 412 metres above sea level. Other notable peaks include Pico Falcato (382 metres), Pico Gião (335 metres) and Pico Santo António (320 metres). It has a W to W orientation, extending from the Alvito Dam to Moura.
