The Sultan Ahmet Mosque, run by the DİTİB Turkish-Islamic Community, is located in Dortmund-Hörde. It is located at Friedensweg 1, 44263 Dortmund. The mosque was completed in 2016 and officially opened on June 5 of the same year. The building is characterized by its blue and white color scheme, reminiscent of the original club colors of Borussia Dortmund until 1913. The Sultan Ahmet Mosque serves not only as a place of worship, but also as a cultural center for the Muslim community in Hörde and the surrounding area. It offers various educational opportunities, including courses for adults and children, as well as social activities. The mosque is barrier-free and has facilities such as a washroom and parking.
