The city forest is always attractive for off-road cyclists

Since December 2018 there is a new attraction on the outskirts of the city of Fürth: the deer enclosure in the Fürth city forest is within easy reach.

Eight deer cows, half a dozen calves and a young red deer with powerful antlers - this is the current occupation in the deer enclosure in the Fürth Stadtwald (as of July 2019). On two hectares there is enough space for grazing, for relaxing in the shade of the trees or for cooling down at several waterholes. The animals are used to free grass, but also like to cover the sparse birch and pine groves.

On two hectares there is enough space to graze, to relax in the shade of the trees or to cool off at several water points. The animals are used to open grass areas, but also like to use the cover of the sparse birch and pine grove.
