The church was founded in 1902, though this is a building from the early 2000s.
At the beginning of the 20th century different faith groups had been active in the area, but in 1958 they have all been united and thereafter simply referred to as the Christian Church. The current church construction started in 1998 and the church was opened in 2001. Its main hall can accommodate about 900 believers.
