The chapel of São Pedro dates back to the 13th century (1252) but was originally a hermitage between 1100 and 1200. The date 1560 is inscribed on the façade, when it was rebuilt for the second time, when the main nave was added to the altars. Remains of the old cemetery were found on much of the floor.

The church is laid out longitudinally on a rectangular plan and is made up of a nave and a chancel. The façade has a galilee, with two round arches, which gives access to the entrance of the temple through the main portal with a straight lintel, and is topped by a straight lintel window with an iron guard. Above this is a niche with a stone image. It is topped on the sides by two pinnacles, centred by a cross. On the left, attached to the temple, is the bell tower.
