Really absolutely gigantic view, even on the climb, the tour partly runs along the edge of the northwest ridge (Kuhreissen). Great view over the Sylvensteinsee, Walchensee, and on the other side over the Risstal to the Karwendel peaks.
There are two climbs: the path and the forest road. The forest road would be good for bike & hike, but it does have a decent incline. Easy to drive on the surface.
