Simple and cozy campsite in Mebond at Selbusjøen. Overnight stays with a tent are quite cheap and you camp on an open meadow in front of the overnight cabins. There are also mobile homes at the edge of the meadow. When I visited in July 2024, there was little activity and I had the whole tent meadow to myself. There is an area for permanent camping by the lake. The facilities are rather old, but clean. There is a shared kitchen with a stove/oven, microwave and kettle. You need coins for the showers. Laundry can only be done by hand.
In the town on road 705 there are two well-stocked supermarkets to the south.
This site is a good place for a day of rest.
