It is a pass connecting Sangchon-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do and Guseong-myeon, Gimcheon-si, Gyeongbuk, through which Baekdudaegan passes.
There is also a Udu Ridge between Ungyang-myeon, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam, and Daedeok-myeon, Gimcheon-si, Gyeongbuk.
The name means Someori Pass, and was given because the surrounding mountains resemble a cow's head.
