Free entry, always open, free access. Description of the city of Weesen / Amden:
The sandy beach Gäsi is located in a relaxing and idyllic place just outside the village of Weesen. The beach almost flows together with the adjacent forest. There is plenty of space to play and discover. Beach volleyball, playground. Catering is available at the nearby kiosk.

Reserved, historically important forest
The Gaesi is best reached by bicycle. From Weesen you drive over the bridge, direction motorway. From there the gravel path on the Glarner side of the Linth is visible. After 1-2 km walk you will find the restaurant Gäsi with a large playground.

Great place to cool off after a busy tour. Sandy beach. The water of the Walensee is pleasantly cool even in midsummer and provides a refreshment.
