    The Barranco de Las Angustias, that is "the gorge of fears". There are some stories about that.
    It connects the over 1000 meters high Caldera de Taburiente in the center of the Canary Island of La Palma over a length of about ten kilometers with the Atlantic Ocean at Puerto de Tazacorte.

      From Dos Aguas you can hike completely through the creek bed to the parking lot, but I would recommend taking the signposted hiking trail, which runs parallel in parts.

            The usual way is to take a taxi to Los Brecitos from the parking lot on the road from Los Llanos. From there you can easily walk downhill into the caldera and then through the Barranco de Angustias back to the parking lot. A very nice hike, especially in the first half, because you hike parallel to the cliffs, which rise up to 1500 m, through a grandiose nature. I found the way back through the Barranco rather boring because you hike on rocky terrain in the ode next to the Barranco. This is tedious and takes time. So start early and have at least one flashlight with you. And a no-go area in rainy weather because the Barranco can flood quickly
