An interesting project was implemented here many years ago. "Wild horses" were settled, which live freely on the Geltinger Birk as landscape conservationists as far as possible without human interference. And if you're lucky, you can watch the horses grazing.
Despite all the wilderness - the animals are surrounded by a large fence system and an electric fence. The fence runs parallel to the cycling and hiking trail the whole time. Funny signs (picture) indicate the current voltage in the fence!
