The castle is picturesquely located on the banks of the Rhine. The large palace complex is really impressive and much larger than expected from the outside. There is a restaurant in the castle that is perfect for a rest.

Very nice markets take place here, especially the pottery market attracts visitors.
According to one theory, Kaspar Hauser is said to have lived in the castle for a year and a half between 1815 and 1816.
