A very nice bike path on which you can cycle to Neustadt relaxed. The view to the castle Hohnstein and on the other side to Holzdampflock with a stamp of the Harzer hiking needle is great

The starting point Nordhausen is easy to reach by public transport. After the city park you drive on the Goetheweg to Niedersachswerfen on a good bike path. By Niedersachswerfen you have to drive from the station unfortunately a small piece of road. Then the new bike path starts with a view of the Harz Mountains. Neustadt is always worthwhile with its sights. The Roland and the castle are worth a break. After the clinic, it is a bit uphill, but in a wonderfully fresh resin air that is only a small problem. After the "summit" begins a wonderful descent to the sawmill. Here is also worth a stop with a stop. Then there is another wonderful descent with beautiful surroundings to the Ibergtalsperre. Now you drive on a good path easily to the Hotel Wolfsmühle. Here you can unwind the soul in a natural swimming pond or in the sauna. The Hotel Wolfsmühle has a menu that leaves nothing to be desired. The food from their own Galloways are not only healthy, but also fantastically prepared.
