The Chapel of Agia Theodora
Whim of nature, divine miracle, whatever: the 17 trees growing on the roof of the small chapel of Agia Theodora offer the vision of an impressive natural jewel. The chapel was built in the 12th century and dedicated to Saint Theodora, a local martyr surrounded by various legends that explain the divine phenomenon.
The site is not without interest but it is tiny and you should avoid the crowds of the middle of the day, Saturday and Sunday. There is plenty of water, a tavern with a huge garden and plenty of places to bivouac.
Be careful: from the end of the season, the tavern only serves drinks and a few cheese turnovers.
