Very beautiful view and fantastic nature including wild boar encounter. ;O)
From the juniper heath south leads a trail (difficult to see) to the main road below. Before that, you cross a small stream. On the other side of the road you can go back up to the Schneeberg.

The Wattendorfer Hang has everything a real juniper heath needs: lean, sunlit dry grasslands, rock and gravel areas, juniper and a wandering shepherd who ensures that the slope is protected.
