Main Rescue Tower
This station was built in 1996 and is one of the most modern DLRG stations on the German coast. On the ground floor, in addition to the operations center, there is a first-aid room, a doctor's room, a watch commander's office, a restroom, a lounge and changing room with a kitchen. On the upper floor, there is the watch room with a panoramic view and an outdoor walkway. From here, you have an excellent overview of the entire Prerow Bay. The tower is equipped with the necessary rescue, resuscitation, and communication technology.
