The old women's monastery opposite the Taxiarchon has been abandoned since the early years of our century. The attempt to restore the complex in 2020 has since been abandoned and what is left of the monastery is slowly becoming overgrown. Now a visit is a real adventure. But due to the dilapidated state, it should be approached with caution.
