Weiden train station is a good starting point for cycling tours in the Seewinkel. Be careful of the train splitting at Neusiedl am See station (coming from Vienna): There, the two connected train sets are split. If you want to go to Weiden, you have to sit in the rear set, which goes to Pamhagen or Förtezentmiklos. The front set goes to Eisenstadt and therefore does not go through Weiden am See.
