The Dolderbahn is a small Zürich specialty: Since 1893 there is a funicular, which created a connection from the Römerhofplatz to the Grand Hotel Dolder. In the 1970s, the cable car was replaced by a rack railway, which is still in operation today. Together with the Zurich city railways you will not even get 20 minutes from the city center on the Adlisberg.
