BIOTOPE INGHIAIE
This area of about 30 ha is a living landscape testimony of how Valsugana was until 1700. Made up of marshes, swamps, marsh vegetation, lakes and ponds, some stable and others temporary because they originated from the frequent and numerous floods of the Brenta that flowed freely in the valley.
Already reported on ancient maps of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the nature reserve is easily visited due to the presence of about 4 km of wide and comfortable paths, information signs and an observation tower.
You move in an "environment" where everything is left to nature, everything is intact as it could have been then. On the ground numerous wetlands full of life and colors are continually renewed by the presence of perennial springs.
The territory is small, but this natural oasis, in addition to its ecological value, shows another great value because it gives a good idea of how this land could have been in ancient times.
