The address of the Bärenmoosalpe speaks volumes - the alpine hut is located in "Himmelreich 1".
The heavenly name already suggests that hikers and bikers can look forward to an idyllic place in the Allgäu mountains. The Bärenmoosalpe is open from June to mid-September. During the alpine summer, not only guests are entertained, the alpine shepherd also takes care of the young cattle that roam freely. The Schumpen, as the Allgäu calles the young Brown Swiss, can be found around the Bärenmoosalpe. In order not to spoil the heavenly atmosphere, a certain respect for the Schumpen is advised.
