Red arrow junction. The path ends in nowhere. We thought it might be a shortcut to avoid a few forest road bends. It ended up being an orienteering course based on the position of the sun and climbing over fallen trees and rubbish-strewn embankments. We eventually ended up back on the forest path, but it is definitely not recommended 🙃
