This cemetery, founded in 1887, is surrounded by a wall with pillars and is hidden in the forest. It served as a burial site for the Jewish community of Kirchberg am Wagram and the surrounding villages. However, there are only around 40 gravestones here. The cemetery, which was renovated in 2021/22 with funds from the fund for the repair of Jewish cemeteries in Austria, is locked; the key is available from the municipality.
The key is in the Kirchberg municipal office, but the wall is low and you can see inside. Unfortunately there is little information about the Jewish community in the area.
